Several years ago I had one of the original Hoosier Cabinets and started building these reproductions in the style of the old ones. The top section has one shelf and the bottom section has no shelf, but one could be added easily. My wife uses the top cabinet for snacks (potato chips,tortilla chips, etc.), breads, paper plates and napkins. She uses the bottom cabinet for taller items such as boxes of cereal, crackers, etc. and the drawers are handy for about anything you need a place for.

The plans for the Hoosier Style Cabinet comes with a master cut list with all the parts and their sizes listed for the cabinet. It also has a parts list with each individual component pictured (doors, sides, faceframe, drawers, etc.) and the parts used to make each one of them. The plan also comes with step by step assembly instructions to assure that you get your cabinet assembled correctly.
